Tinnitus/Hyperacusis/Misophonia

Kristi Oeding , Au.D. and Diane Duddy Au.D. provide tinnitus, hyperacusis, and misophonia management options. Our goal is to meet the unique needs of each individual patient. This patient-centered approach helps us work together to find the best treatment options, no matter what the problem.

An initial one hour consultation includes an extensive tinnitus, hyperacusis, and/or misophonia history, questionnaires to determine how tinnitus, hyperacusis, and/or misophonia affects the patient’s life, and discussion of customized treatment options, as well as expectations and goals. For some patients, this initial consultation will provide enough information for the patient to manage their tinnitus, hyperacusis, and/or misophonia. However, others will elect a treatment option, such as tinnitus retraining therapy or Neuromonics treatment, which will require more follow-up visits.

Beginning in the fall of 2012, a one hour group tinnitus, hyperacusis, and misophonia class will be offered for those interested in learning about tinnitus, hyperacusis, and misophonia, as well as the associated etiologies, current research and available treatment options.
